IS EUROPE THREATENED BY EAST AFRICA ECONOMIC INTEGRATION?

European parliament on Tuesday 13 September 2022 voted to delay Uganda Oil mega project on grounds of human rights violations in Uganda and Tanzania linked to investments in fossil fuel projects. 


France's TotalEnergies and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation signed a $10-billion agreement earlier this year to develop Ugandan oilfields and ship the crude through a 1,445-kilometre pipeline to Tanzania's Indian Ocean port of Tanga. Does western world feel threatened by the economic integration or is it also worsened by Uganda's sweet relationship with China and Russia?


President Museveni in his wisdom together with his counterparts is trying to unite Africa using a gradual process. Because dealing with imperialists needs wisdom. They stopped Gadafi prematurely because he was doing it so first which was indeed a threat to the world economic powers. 


President Museveni, known as the father of the region, started by reviving a unity of the three original East African countries, later together with other heads of states, they brought in Rwanda and Burundi. Again another milestone was made when Sudan and DRC were factored in, and soon Somalia is coming on board. 


The world particularly, the western world feels threatened, when East Africa is given ample ground and time to continue expanding with the graphite, oil and many other minerals in place. 


If Africa can have 10 brains of president Museveni's kind, then in less than three decades, this continent will have the biggest economy on earth.


Let's stand with president Museveni! European Parliament has to lose this time!

Covid-19 exposed to the whole world that children are more prone to a number of sexually related dangers at home during holidays, than at schools since between the year 2020 and 2022 thousands and thousands young girls left schools due to early pregnancy. This can be interpreted that parents are not doing enough to guide and protect their children from these evils. According to Police Annual crime reports, over 12,000 cases of defilements and over 1,600 cases of rapes were reported in Uganda in 2022 alone, minus series of cases not reported to police. This is a serious dilemma since thousands of these victims are girls under the age of consent.
