 President Museveni commends RCC Gulu City, Jane Francis Amongin Okili and a section of local leaders from Acholi sub-region for bringing to his attention the misappropriation of PDM funds. He said PDM will not fail, and anyone trying to sabotage it will be dealt with swiftly.

Kiswahili, also known as Swahili is the most spoken language in Africa. The language which originated from East Africa has now spread to more than 14 countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Comoros and as far as other countries in Middle East like Oman. On 30th August 2023 the news of Gabon coup started pouring on different medias. The Gabonese Army led by Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema took to the National Television announcing to Gabonese and international community that they have ousted President Ali Bongo, because of what they call electoral irregularities and unfairness. This brought Bongo's reign in the West African state to an end. Ali Bongo served as president of Gabon for 15 years succeeding his father Omar Bongo who had served for 41 years.
