ACHOLI ARE NOT SELLING THEIR LAND WILLINGLY

Aholi people do not hate other indigenous groups, because it's in record that Acholi took care of a lot of people who are not from Acholi Community, talk about Late Abiriga, Gen.Moses, Ali, President Museveni, Gen. Salim Sale and others. These leaders would not be alive if not because of the sacrifices made by our children.

What we are detesting is, the smart move of NRM government to settle Banyarwanda in Northern Uganda particularly Acholi subregion.

It is childish to say people are selling their land willingly, yet people are being propelled by the destitution they are languishing in.

Even fools are well aware that Acholi used to keep their wealth in form of livestock and since they were all raided our people were left with empty hands. Whether these looters were Kjongs or not, NRM government takes the blames, because it happened in their regime, and it is the mandate of the government through a national army to defend its citizens.

Acholi were ordered to leave their homes and settle in IDP camps, where they lost their customs, resources, health and others.

Acholi people went through a lot of atrocities during the war and really required holistic rehabilitation after the war, but it's the same government that allocated money for this purpose and at the same time just sees its officials diverting and squandering the fund, a good example is how PDM fund was stolen.

Acholi went back home without anything to start life with, that is why these frustrated and traumatized people from the IDP camps started by hiring their land for burning charcoal and later resorted to selling.

Putting a certain tribe in an absolute level of poverty, with a lot of trauma and frustration, then you bring people with a lot of money to manipulate them, can also be referred to as genocide.

I look at what is happening in Acholi as a genocide. I studied History and international relations at some level, and I have the ability to project the situation Acholi will end up in, and if our words can enlighten our people, then we give glory to God
